John M. Pierce, 82 of Clarksville, AR passed away on Wednesday, September 09, 2020 in Little Rock, AR. He was born March 4, 1938 in Little Rock, AR to the late Basil and Hazel (Thompson) Pierce. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was known as "Johnny" to his family and "JP" to his friends. He was married to the late Rebecca (Davis) for nearly fifty years. Whom he lovingly called (her) "Bert".
He has one son, Mike (Sherry) Pierce of Clarksville, AR and two daughters Kim (Jimmy) Pearson of Russellville, AR and Michelle (Gary) Bratton of Pottsville, AR. He is survived by 8 grandchildren Michael Shad (Tabatha) Bomer Hot Spring, AR., Jeremy Michael (Kelly) Pierce of Corpus Chrisiti, TX; Carol (Brian) Hunter of Paris, AR; Tyler (Jodi) Pearson of Lamar, AR; Baylor Pearson of Russellville, AR; Caden (Molly) Coffman of Ft. Smith, AR; Carlee Coffman of Russellville, AR; and Tate (Lyndsey) Bratton of Katy, TX and several great-grandchildren.
He was the baby of eleven children. He has one surviving sister, Colleen (Gordon) Cook of Russellville, AR. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister.
He worked many years in the auto parts business. When he decided to open his own "JP'S AUTO PARTS". You could usually find him smiling and singing some old song. If you knew him for very long, you would soon discover he was very comical, humorous and you would probably end up with a nickname. He loved to watch sports especially Razorback football and basketball. He also enjoyed working in his yard, his garden and being with his family.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
A Memorial Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Roller-Cox Chapel in Clarksville.

Kim, Michelle, Michael and family, we don't have healing words, but if we did, I'd say them right now. Uncle Johnny was well loved and will always be remembered with smiles and retelling of memories! We are sending you love and peace!
So sorry for your loss. JP will be missed. He always brighten my day when he came into Walmart.
