Glenna Faye Forshee Martin, 94, of Marcella, Arkansas went to be with the Lord September 2, 2020.

She was born August 16, 1926 in St. James, Arkansas to Sevier Clark and Effie Jane (Lindsey) Forshee.

The Martins were long time members of Marcella Baptist Church and in later years, Glenna was a member of Saint James Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Jane Merritt of Marcella, Arkansas; granddaughter, Rebecca Ayn King (Jeff Compton) of Little Rock; a sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Forshee of Cave City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Glenna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Edwin Martin; and her eight brothers and sisters; Opal Craig, Chester Younger, Earnestine Ford, Okie Forshee, Willie Forshee, Shelby Forshee, Ewell Forshee, Harold Forshee; and three nieces and three nephews.

Pallbearers are Jeff Compton, Darrell Ford, Roger Davis, Terry St. John, Eddie Craig, and Jim Hilborn.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2:00pm at the Marcella Cemetery in Marcella, Arkansas with Rob Ford officiating under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Methodist Church c/o Carolyn Davis, Treasurer. 89 Carlile St. Batesville, Arkansas 72501.
