William ''Bill'' I. Andrews, Sr., age 92, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in Brinkley, Arkansas. Mr. Andrews was born April 2, 1928 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late Aubrey and Ether Andrews.

The owner of Andrew's Eggs for 53 years, Mr. Andrews also served as a Deacon at West Helena Baptist Church. He was a former member of the West Helena Lion's Club and a charter member of West Helena Evening Lion's Club. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

Mr. Andrews loved golf, working in his yard, listening to Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Conway Twitty. Most of all he loved his grandchildren.

Mr. Andrews is survived by a daughter, Gloria Montgomery (Ron) of Brinkley; three grandchildren, Rhonda Thornton (Monty), Drew Montgomery and Angela Grady (Lee); six great-grandchildren, Makayla Montgomery, Addison Montgomery, Bridgette Thornton, Cullin Thornton, Madison Grady and Logan Grady; sister, Janie Mathis of Bentonville; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 69 years, Katie Goodnight Andrews; and his son, William ''Bubba'' Andrews, Jr.

A service for Bill Andrews will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at West Helena Baptist Church. Visitation will be immediately prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother James McDaniel and Brother Joe Garner will officiate.

Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet must be practiced and all funeral attendees must provide and wear their own mask.

Bill Andrew's was one of the finest men I have ever known. He and Mrs. Katie were my family during my short stay in Helena. I will never forget the love we shared for each other. I will never forget them and the time we spent together as long as I live!!!
