Teresa M. Gutierrez-Haase was born to Ramon Gutierrez Alvarez and Maria Alvarez Zepeda on March 21st, 1943 in La Manzanilla de la Paz, Jalisco, Mexico. She would later move to the United States and was a resident of Alexander, Arkansas when she passed away on July 28th, 2020.

Viajo, conocio, vivio, sufrio, cayo y cada vez se levanto. Le encantaba estar con la familia, eso es lo unico que pedia tiempo con los que amaba, creando memorias en cada oportunidad.
She was an entrepreneur, Studied and Worked at the University of Arkansas and was a world traveler who loved to dance, socializing with her friends, and was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church parishioner in Little Rock, AR. She had two marriages: one to Victor Sanchez Viezca and one to widow of Earl Haase (deceased). She is proceeded in death by her parents, her sister; Altagracia Gutierrez De Dorantes, and her brother; Javier Gutierrez Alvarez.
"Tere" deeply loved her family. She leaves to cherish her memory: her brother; Ramon Gutierrez Alvarez, her sister; Maria de los Angeles Gutierrez De Fuentevilla. She adored many nieces and nephews who called her "Tia Haase". She also had one godson, Miguel Fuentevilla, Jr, She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and friends.
