Danie Vaughn, 73, of Brookland, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at St. Bernards Hospital. She was born November 30, 1944 to Garriel and Pauline Vaughn. Danie worked at Frolic Footwear and retired from St. Bernards Hospital, where she worked as a surgery tech. She attended Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. She loved rocking in her recliner and watching TV.
Danie was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Martha Beasley and Wilma Tosh; and a brother, Charles Vaughn.
Survivors include her daughters, Lena (Mike) Bova and Dana (Jason) Hilliard; grandchildren, Katrina (Mark) Haustein, Bethany Hilliard, J.T. Hilliard, Michael Bova and Tiffany Bova; great grandchildren, Cole Haustein, Kinley Haustein and Savanah Bova; and one sister, Catherine Chipman.
Funeral services will be 3 pm Wednesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Bro. Mike Book officiating.
Visitation will begin at 2 pm until time of service.

Dear Lena and Dana I am so sorry for loss for Heaven gained another Angel and that she was. I loved coming to her house when I was a kid. She always had a special place in my heart and always will. She helped me when I was down and in a bad situation and for that I will always be grateful. My prayers and thoughts are with both you girls and the rest of her family. I live y’all and if you ever need anything I am her for you. Love Aiunt Brenda.
