My deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. God hates to see us suffer, and He is deeply saddened by the death of his people. Isaiah 63:9 tells us that our distress is distressing to Him. It is comforting to know that God feels for us when we suffer. The Bible tells us what God is going to do in the future - Revelation 21:4 says that "He will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more." God also promises in Acts 24:15 that "there will be a resurrection." Soon, you will see your loved one again, and under the hand of God, no one will suffer or die ever again. Until then, take comfort in the scripture's promises of a good future for mankind.
