Shirley Gene (Thompson) Hurst, 73, of Weiner, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Walnut Ridge Nursing & Rehab. She was born August 20, 1945, in Weiner, to Roy & Lucile (Morgan) Thompson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and arts & crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kelly Hurst; two grandchildren, James Hurst and Presley Hurst; three brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by one son, Justin Ray (Samantha) Hurst; one daughter, Tracy Hurst; one grandchild, Alexandria Hurst; her brother, Rayburn (Mary Beth) Thompson; two sisters, Jolene Raines and Carolyn Skaggs; and her lifelong companion, Dale Hurst.
There will be a graveside service 11:00AM, Monday, October 1, 2018, at Clark Cemetery at Weiner.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Although I haven't seen Shirley in many years, I have such fond memories of her when I was a little girl.
