Jonathan "Jonnie" Rouse

of Lakeview, AR

July 18, 1978 - September 20, 2018

Jonathan ''Jonnie'' Rouse, age 40, departed this life on September 20, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born July 18, 1978 in Wheaton, Illinois to John and Vicki Rouse.
Jonnie passed away after a year-long illness, which lead to open heart surgery at Barnes in St. Louis, Missouri. After many hospitalizations and surgeries, his body and mind simply could not withstand anymore. He is now at peace and pain free. We will miss him tremendously.
Jon enjoyed fishing, mushroom & arrowhead hunting, and hunting in Colorado with his Dad. He loved being one with nature, his music, motorcycles, and beautiful women who always gave him a run for his money! Most of all, he loved his children and his Mom was his ROCK.
Jon is survived by his children: son, Deacan Ziek Rouse; daughter, Alaina Louise Rouse, both of the home; mother of his children, Melisa Willis of Midway; mother, Vicki; sisters: Dee Sanders of Illinois, Shawn Rouse of Mountain Home, and Heather (Jody) Cox of Norfork; his lifelong friend DeeDee Pirozzolo of Hot Springs, and his last true love, Lacy Uchtman of Henderson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Richard Rouse; maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents, and special great aunt and uncle.
Celebration of Life for Jonnie will be held from 1-4pm Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Lakeview State Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. Please visit our online guest book at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/mtnhome.

MY BROTHER
If you knew Jonnie, you became family.
If you were in need, he would give you the shirt off his back, a warm place to sleep, and a hot meal to eat.
If you knew my brother, you knew his children were his life line.
If you knew my brother, his dry humor made you laugh til you cried.
If you knew my brother, you knew his family meant everything.
If you knew my brother, you knew his bark was worse than his bite.
If you knew my brother, you'd realize he would want us to relive the good times, but forget the bad because he lived his life his way.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God
