Greg CaldwellI am a Veteran.

of Little Rock, AR

May 13, 1964 - September 21, 2018

Greg Caldwell, born in 1964 to Allen and Joan Caldwell in Globe, AZ, spent his early childhood moving among American Indian reservations in four states while his father worked for BLM. He joined the Army at 18 and became a Green Beret with the 1st Special Forces Group, rising to the rank of Sergeant. In his mid-20s, he met and married Theresa West Harmon and became an instant father to her three children, Mackalynn (Harmon) Davidson, Kyle Harmon, and Heath Harmon. For the next 26 years, he worked as a national territory representative within the telecom industry. Together with his wife Theresa he shared many laughs, boating adventures, worldwide travel, very close connections to their neighbors, friends, and church families, six boisterous grandchildren, and the trials of battling high-risk myeloma for seven years. With the help of wonderful friends, family, and a cadre of UAMS staff who became like family, Greg made the most of his remaining time, exuding his warmth and humor until his very last hour. He is survived by his wife Theresa Caldwell of Little Rock, AR, children Mackalynn (Chris) Davidson of Nashville, TN, Kyle Harmon of Bentonville, AR, and Heath Harmon (Aubrey) of Louisville, KY; mother Joan Caldwell of Baker, MT; sisters Caren (Dean) Hass of Jamestown, ND, and Melanie (Delbert) Espinosa of Baker, MT. He is also remembered by his nephews and nieces, with special thanks to Kenneth Camron Espinosa for critical blood donations during his treatment.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Feed Arkansas Kids.com.

Will always remember Greg as being positive throughout his myeloma battle. It was a privilege to get to know you and Greg but wish it were under different circumstances. Prayers for you and your family.

Theresa, Kyle, Mackalynn, and Heath,

Words cannot express the sadness I feel at learning of the passing of one of my most cherished friends. I am sure that the Lord will be with you during this time and will sustain you as only He can. As you might remember, I met Greg when he was the "old Greg" (his words). But I am so delighted that over the years, I was able to call him my brother in Christ. I will sorely miss Greg, and always fondly remember him.
