Elizabeth O'Dom ''Liz'' Clark, age 81, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with her Lord Jesus on September 13, 2018, at Good Samaritan Village in Mountain Home. She was born to Irvin George and Arthemese Meyer O'Dom on July 25, 1937, in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Gulfport Mississippi High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and Tulane University in New Orleans. She married John ''Cotton'' Clark in 1960 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Clark worked for the FBI and GMAC in New Orleans. She also worked for several savings and loans where she worked her way up to Senior Executive Vice-President in charge of 27 branches, and retired to Mountain Home. A member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Liz sang in several Episcopal church choirs for many years. She served on the vestry at St. Andrew's Church and other churches and was a member of St. Martha's Guild. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-granddaughter and playing golf with the Big Creek Ladies Group.
She is survived by a daughter, Cathy (Dr. John) Sullivant: Mountain Home; a son: Jay (Christina) Clark: Little Rock, Arkansas; a sister: June (Tom) Jones: Ridgeland, Mississippi; two grandchildren: Lauren Sullivant: Rogers, Arkansas and Seth Sullivant: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a great-granddaughter: Elizabeth Grace and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A Celebration of Life will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, September 22, 2018, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with The Reverend Kevin Gore officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Andrew's church columbarium. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
