Roger Doyle White

of Yellville, AR

March 7, 1945 - September 12, 2018

Roger Doyle White, age 73, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Roger wanted you to know that he died as a result of being stubborn, refusing to follow doctors' orders, and living his own way for more than seven decades. He enjoyed Native American culture, painting landscapes, and fishing for catfish.
Roger was born March 7th 1945 to Ivan and Opal White in Jonesboro, AR. He was one of twelve children and he thrived on creativity and storytelling. He could spin a tale so good that you could be sure that 50[[][[]][[][%]]] of it was true, but you could never tell which 50[[][[]][[][%]]]. Later, the family moved to Corona, CA where Roger loved running around with his siblings and looking at the joyful side of life. He eventually found himself nestled in the foothills of the Ozarks where he cast his last reel, smoked his last cigarette, and told his last tale. He would not want you to be sad but rather smile and remember the Joyous times he spent with you.
Preceded in death by: Parents, two brothers, three sisters, and two daughters
Survivors: former wife and friend Mickey White, Two Sons, Roger Jr., Daniel (Jennifer) White, two daughters, Trudy, Susan White, Four brothers, Arthur (Carol) White, Alvin (Linda) White, Don (Bobbie) White, Ivan (Lori) White, two Sisters, Virginia (Richard) Morechini, Paula (Rockne) Rhodes, and eight grandkids.

My dad is Don White. Although I only met my uncle Roger a couple times as a child I feel like I new him well. This is because my dad told me soooo many stories of him and his brother Roger running around corona having fun getting into trouble, not to much trouble, just enough to have fun.
I want to share my condolences with the whole family. I see my dad still hurting and trying to comes to terms with the loss of his sister Caroline, and now his brother. They will both be misses dearly.
