Shirley Ann Adair Schichtl, age 69, of Conway, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born March 16, 1949 in Danville, AR to the late Virgil and Olline (Goodwin) Adair.
Shirley was the owner of Conway Florist and Gifts, Inc. She loved to garden, work in her flower beds, and shop. Shirley devoted her life to a family who loved her very much and will be missed by family and friends who will be thinking of her contagious laugh.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Edward J. Schichtl. One son, Shawn Schichtl and wife, Lisa. Grandkids who were the light of her life: Shawn D., Austin, and Madisyn Schichtl. Two brothers, James (Claudette) Adair, of Havana, AR and Damon Adair of Boonville, AR. Three sisters, Wanda (Jackie) Catlett, and Loretta Williams both of Danville, AR. Kathy (Keith) Fike and a sister in law Debbie Adair both of Havana, AR. , and a host of special friends, nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Olline Adair, one brother, Ray Adair, and a brother-in-law, RH Williams, along with one sister-in-law, Lois Adair.
A private family service will be at a later date.
So sad to hear about Ms Shirley. I loved calling the shop for flowers but more than that I always enjoyed catching up on our families.
I'll miss that wonderful lady!

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Ms Shirley. She always knew just what flowers to send my wife to keep me out of trouble. I will miss her deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. RIP Ms Shirley!
Ed, Shawn and Lisa ...My deepest sympathy on the loss of a very sweet woman. She was a friend I enjoyed popping in on out of the blue and catching up and laughing about any and everything. I know she will be missed by many.
