I am so very sorry for the loss of Steve. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family.
I had not seen Steve since the mid-80s. I was on leave and visiting family in the area. My brother, Charles, and Steve were going out for an afternoon of searching for arrowheads. They invited me to tag along.
It was a lovely afternoon of poking around in small caves, scrambling around rocky slopes, and finding all sorts of treasures. Steve was so happy and relaxed that day. He and my brother shared some of their arrowheads with me. I still have them in a small tin box.
As the family prepares to bury Steve tomorrow, I will be sending my prayers up with yours. I will set out the arrowheads, pray, and think of Steve being happy and at peace.
I will remember Steve and his smile. Jackie and I where classmates and Steve was a class above us. Prayers for Velma, Jackie, Lisa and rest of family.
So sorry for your loss.
Bob and I were sorry to hear of Steve's passing. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
