When you close your eyes on earth you open yours eyes in heaven
I waited patiently for the Lord
He turned to me and heard my cry
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
Out of the mud and mire,
He set my feet on a rock
And gave me a firm place to stand
Psalm 40:1-2
“Heal me, Lord and I will be healed;
Save me and I will be saved,
For You are the One I praise”
Jeremiah 17:14
So sorry to hear of "Spuds" passing! Prayers to his family. I met his years ago in the US Air Force, we went Vietnam together in June 1965! We were stationed together at Cannon AFB, Clovis NM. As a young new airman, I had a lot to learn about job and being a member of the military. He was one the first senior airman I met. He told me a lot about being a weapons mechanic. A very complex and dangerous job. He was always helpful and up beat. We lost touch over the years and finally got back together through the internet. We would email at times just to keep in touch. We have lost a great caring person, to his family please know he was well like by everyone who spent time and came in contact with him. Rest in Pease my friend.
We have people we can’t remember and friend we never forget. RIP. My good friend.
