I am so very sorry for your loss. At this difficult time, please take comfort in knowing God's promise of the resurrection at Acts 24:15 - "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." We can look forward to seeing our loved ones again soon.

Lila was the first friend I ever had. She and her family lived catty-corner from us when we were kids. We were the only two our age so we became fast friends. After her family moved to Griffithville, I went up and visited one summer. Lila had a boyfriend so they fixed me up with one of his friends and we double dated— my first. We lost contact with each other over the years but I thought of her often. Thankfully we reconnected a couple of years ago through Facebook. We were just getting to know each other again and now she’s gone. I am heartbroken. But I know she’s much better now and I’ll see her again. I know the Good Lord welcomed her home with open arms, breathing freely and being whole once again. I love you Lila and miss you so much. My heartfelt sympathies to all her other friends and family. Praying for you all.

Lila was the dearest friend I have ever had. I will miss our time and her total honesty. If you didn't want to know, you didn't ask her. I loved that about her and so many other things. I will miss her so, but will be with her again and we will talk forever! Gene I love you just like a big bro. Our trips and vacations the 4 if us shared were great. Laughing till we hurt. Fond memories last a life time.
