James Everett Barnes Sr. ''Mr. Bud'', 82, of Marion, AR, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018, in Memphis TN. He is survived by his sons, James Everett Barnes Jr. ''Lil Bud'' of Savanna, Tennessee; and Howard Edward Barnes ''Eddie'' of Savanna, Tennessee; 2 daughters, Kathy Boswell of Marion, Arkansas and Tina Barnes Whited (Alan) of Marion, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren, Jamie Barnes, Jon Michael Yeoman, Matt Yeoman (Shawn), and AJ Whited (Sarah); 6 great grandchildren; and 7 sisters, Janie McAlister ''Sis'' of Marianna, Arkansas, Mary Ann Cole ''Coote'' of Marianna, Arkansas, Patricia Graham of Jacksonville, Florida, Patsy Simmons of Wynne, Arkansas , Frances Johnson ''Frankie'' of Pensacola, Florida, Linda Blansett of Tyronza, Arkansas, and Nancy ''Kay'' Butler of Heth, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances Jean Barnes; parents Jim Thomas and Eddie Mae Barnes; 2 brothers, Wayne Barnes and Johnny Barnes; 2 sisters, Helen Murphy and Lois Baine.

Bud, Moondog aka Eddie ;) and Family,
My heart breaks for you. Too soon our dads are gone. There is never an easy time. I could tell you that time heals, however, it doesn't, I was driving home from work last week and tears just starting falling.. I so miss daddy, every day! BUT!!! the memories of a great father, man, and friend, bring the smiles back... and that is exactly what I pray that you boys do... clutch to the memories, the laughs, the childhood smiles...
I am praying for a complete peace of mind, comfort that can only come from God, and warm embraces !
