It is with great sadness that the family of Karen Kleman announces her passing, on Sunday, July 23, 2018, at the age of 75 years.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, La Vern Kleman, her parents, Woodrow and Estelle Cates, and her sister, Debra Smith.
A native of Lubbock Texas, Karen lived in Iowa prior to retiring in Fairfield Bay. She was very involved in the community and was passionate about painting. Since 1974, she had been an active member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her son Kelly Cooper (David Garofalo); her brother Rodney Cates (Randa); nephew Trevor Cates (Amber); and niece Kameron Rogers (Garrett). Karen will also be fondly remembered by three great-nieces and a great-nephew.
A Memorial Service in memory of Karen will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at Roller- McNutt Funeral Home, 1902 Hwy 65S Clinton AR 72031.

We are so sorry for your loss. Karen was a very special lady and so much fun to be around. She was also so giving to her community and the people around her.
