Mary Lea Black Lee, 79, of Mt. Vernon, Arkansas passed away July 17, 2018 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born March 24, 1939 in Flippin, Arkansas to the late Tom Henry and Lena May Dennis Black. Mrs. Lee was a faithful member of the Naylor United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Lee moved with her family to Desoto, Kansas and while she was there she met her husband of 53 years, George William ''Bill'' Lee. They lived in Kansas for a number of years before returning to Arkansas where they settled in the Mt. Vernon area. She had a caregivers heart and worked in the nursing field for many years. She attended nursing school, which helped her to gain more knowledge to care for others.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband George William ''Bill'' Lee; one sister, Betty Webb; two brothers, Lawrence and JC Black.

She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Lee and Denise Boyette both of Mt. Vernon; four grandsons, Michael, Stephen and Thomas Millsaps and Trent Lee; three great-grandsons, Tristan, Landon and Emerson Millsaps; and one sister, Glenda Buckley of Kansas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with other family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be at Naylor United Methodist Church in Naylor, Friday, July 20 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be held at the Romance Cemetery. Arrangements by Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.

My wife, Marilyn, and I have known Mary for just a short while but in that time we have come to know and love her and her family dearly.
