Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May you be supported by your faith and know that God can and will provide the added strength needed during this difficult time. "Memories of Franklin are that 'he never saw Peggy and I without expressing his feelings and talking about times when we all lived within walking distance of each other (where Lake Maumelle now exist) . Not many who lived in the Maumelle community at that time had much of anything, of value, but if anyone was in need, every person was a valued friend and the whole community turned out. Franklin will also be remembered for always paying his respect and attending funerals for those who lived in the Roland/Lake Maumelle community."

I have nothing but good memories of Uncle Frank. He treated me and my sister with tender loving care when we were children. He took me on trips to town, to the zoo, to some places my mother would not have approved of (smile), and yet I always felt safe with him. He was a big strong uncle who was gentle with us and we knew he loved us. We were “his favorite nieces”....I know he said that just to make us feel special....he had a lot of nieces and nephews....but we held him to it when we would run into him later in life. He was a character. A mans man. Had a great sense of humor. He loved my parents too and always mentioned how much they meant to him. Words cant be put on paper, the empty hole that is left with his absence. I used to see him at funerals, well he’s gone to his last one.....but what sites he must be seeing now! I’m sure Mother wecolmed him home along wih many others. My prayers for the family remain, because Uncle Frank doesn’t need them anymore. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers, as i have to work out of town the day of the funeral. You are all known intimately by our Father in heaven and he knows your every care, and the burden that you bear. Please turn to him in hours of sadness and despair in the days and weeks to come. He is right there beside you thru it all.
