Inez Vera (Henderson-Bragg) Wildy, age 88, died at home on 7/14/18. She was born 3/3/1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Fay Helen Kent Henderson and Will Rocket Henderson. They moved to Osceola, Arkansas, when she was 2 years old where she lived until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Wilbur Carl Wildy, daughter Pamela Kent Brackin, son Wade Edward Wildy, and her second parents, Inez Kent Bragg and Braxton Wade Bragg. She was also a member of the Osceola Junior Auxiliary, past President of Chapter O of the PEO Sisterhood, a member of the Mississippi County Historical and Genealogical Society, and an associate member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. In addition to her service to her church, she also served as a Cub Scout den mother, Brownie Leader, and Girl Scout Troop leader. Mrs. Wildy was proud to have co-founded the Explorer Bible Study Group. She and her husband were antique dealers for many years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, bird-watching, and gardening. She amassed an extensive cookbook collection over her life-time, which her chef grandson-in-law will surely treasure. She was a lifetime supporter of the Violet Cemetery, and she and Mr. Wildy published a directory of the cemetery that is available at the Mississippi County Museum. She is survived by her sons Wilbur Carl Wildy, Jr., of Osceola, AR, and Don Braxton Wildy of Memphis, TN, her grandchildren Lucie Kent Brackin (Patrick Montgomery), Betsy Brackin Burch (Brown), Sam Walton Brackin (Maggie), and her great grandchildren, Eli Walton Brackin, Lucille Blayne Burch, and Isabel Pamela Brackin.
