Robert "Bob" Douglas Wilroy, 79, of Batesville died Thursday, July 12, 2018.

He was born in Long Beach, California to the late William Thomas Wilroy, Sr. and Evelyn (Burhart) Wilroy on August 19, 1938.

Robert served in the United States Air Force. His father served in the Navy during WWII. His older brother, B.T., also served in the Navy. His younger brother, Richard, served in the Marines in Vietnam.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Brewer) Wilroy; five daughters, Diane Aldredge of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Deborah Phillips (Gary) of Cottontown, Tennessee, Barbara Guba (Thomas) of Nashville, Tennessee, Evelyn Lee of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Brook Taylor (Jason) of Batesville, Arkansas; one brother, William ''B.T.'' Thomas Wilroy, II (Bicky) of Santa Clarita, California; five grandchildren, Amy Jo Barnett (Jason), Alisha Carter Hightower (Donnie), Austin Carter, Kennedi Taylor, Steele Taylor; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Barnett, Andrew Barnett, Ashlyn Barnett, Hunter Baker, Hayli Baker; six step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Richard Wilroy.

Pallbearers will be Harold Brewer, Jerry Brewer, Thomas Guba, Gary Phillips, Jason Taylor, and Ronnie Bolen.

Honorary pallbearers are Austin Carter, Hunter Baker, Jason Barnett, Cleo Sutton, Allen Moser, and Steele Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at the Roller-Crouch Chapel on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Pordue Cemetery in Onia, Arkansas.

A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
