Kevin J. Schefdore, age 63, of Mountain Home passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Kevin was born September 20, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to Carl and Margaret (Gorman) Schefdore.
Kevin was a landscaping contractor for most of his life. He was the proud father to Jesse K. Schefdore. Kevin served his country as a Marine. He was an avid sportsman and Blues musician.
Kevin is survived by his son, Jesse K. Schefdore of Summit, Ar.; four sisters: Sandra M. Schefdore of Evergreen Park, Il; Mary Ann Lockman, Margaret T. Schefdore, and Kathleen Novy all of Mountain Home, Ar., and one brother, Peter G. Schefdore of Mountain Home, Ar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Margaret and two brothers, Michael and Stephen Schefdore.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am Thursday, July 19, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold, celebrant. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
