Timothy Carr, Sr.

of Little Rock, AR

June 19, 1953 - June 15, 2018

On Friday, June 15, 2018 at 7:16 pm, Timothy Michael Carr, Sr met his Lord and Savior.

Tim was born on June 19,1953 in Honolulu to Robert and Bertie Carr. He resided in Little Rock where he was an accomplished attorney until retirement. But even after retirement, he always wore his attorney hat, and was proud to do it, and did it well.

Tim was an avid hunter, loving companion, an exceptional son, incredible father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. The wheelchair never stopped him from doing anything he wanted to do and to that end one of his favorite sayings was, ''Can't, can't do anything''.

Before his motorcycle accident on June 11, 1978 he was a master carpenter. He built many beautiful structures in his time. One of which was volunteering to help build Pinnacle Assembly of God Church. He was so proud to be part of building The Lord's House. In fact, he put a quarter, dated from that year, between one of the window panes. It is there to this day and he hopes that Jesus will allow him to repair His mansions in Heaven.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bertie Lee Gaston Carr of Little Rock.
He is survived by his father, Robert Leo Carr (Jo Ann) of Violet Hill, Ar. His loving companion of 22 years, Deb Meyers. His daughters, Stephanie Carr Blakely (Allen) and Lindy Bonner, his son, Timothy Michael Carr, Jr. (Stacey), sister, Bobbie Carr Davidson (Randy), all of Little Rock, and brothers, Craig Philip Carr (Jennifer) and John Oran Carr (Tricia) of Benton. Four grandchildren, Casey Ann Blankinship, Samuel Allen Blakely, Camryn Elizabeth Carr, and Madison Sloan Carr, all of Little Rock, and many nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
If anyone would like to make donations in Tim's name in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to HSRVI (Hot Springs Rehabilitation Volunteers) at 105 Reserve Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71901.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4"With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

Dear, Bobbie, Phillip, and John,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry I was unable to make Tim’s service. I have been homebound with two recent back surgeries.

Lorie said it was nice seeing all of you. We grew up in the best childhood neighborhood any children ever could.

I sorry for Tim’s passing and I am sure he was welcomed to heaven with open arms.

Love all of you.
