Randy Lynn Jones, 64 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, in Paris. He was born on March 1, 1954, in Monroe, Louisiana to his parents Hubert Lester and Ola Matilda (Lee) Jones. He worked as a roughneck in the oil fields of Texas and was an ordained minister for the Universal Life Church. Randy was a loving and kind man who was active in helping those that were homeless and less fortunate. He loved to garden and spending time with his kids and grandchildren teaching them how to live off the land.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hubert Lester Jones; one brother, Gaylon Jones and one sister, Merritta Chambers.

Randy is survived by his son, Lester Lee Jones of Huntsville, AR; two daughters, Angela Kay Jones-Jackson of Odessa, TX; Jennifer Michelle Jones of Sterling, CO; his mother, Ola Matilda (Lee) Jones of Scranton, AR; three sisters, Renee Furr of Scranton, AR; Francis Yandell of Midland, TX; Mickey Stafford of Greenwood, TX; one brother, Edward Lee Jones of Midland, TX; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other family members and friends.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
