Rosie was a mother, housewife, saleslady, and factory worker for a while. She loved to garden, the flowers in her yard were her pride and joy. She loved roses and Mothers Day was always a happy one when we would give her another plant. Frogs being her favorite creature she loved seeing them in her garden and also had a collection of all types of frogs. Another love, was that of red birds, with red being her very favorite color! But her other great love for eight years, was for her Boston Terrier dog ''Duchess''!!

She was an excellent seamstress, with her love of sewing she made all sizes of Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls, along with a variety of stuffed animals and dolls. She prized herself on being able to cook on a wood stove and have everything coming off ready at the same time!
