JoAnna, Jody, Laura, Bobby and family. So sorry for your loss. I can only imagine the reunion with Joyce. He was a very special man in so many ways and loved by all who knew him. I’m sorry that I couldn’t be there but I was in Oklahoma when I got the news. Prayers and much love for each of you.

Like a landmark in our neighborhood, Joe Woodson was a man who garnered respect and great loyalty. We sat in his family room at the back of his home and he shared rare books from his library; we discussed politics on every level - International governments to who had been appointed Dog Catcher! As a 'Union Man' he ranked high through association with honorable, working folks who had banded together to instill and preserve Workers Rights. His greatest glory was in winning the heart of darling Joyce - who was loved by all.

Oh how we shall miss this good soul. May THE ALMIGHTY have blessed him with a new home in Paradise. We extend our condolences to his Son and many other family members; friends; and those who proudly stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Joe Woodson on the union membership rolls.
