Robert M. McCarty, Jr. (Bobby) age 92, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away June 10, 2018 at the age of 92 in Bartlett, Tennessee.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lillian Hamm McCarty; his daughter, Lynn McCarty Tacker and husband, Dr. Herman Tacker; brother, William (Bill) McCarty of Southaven, Mississippi; grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Jana Smith Russell, Lindsey McCarty Flores, Elizabeth McCarty, Katie McCarty; and great-grandchildren, Camden Smith, Isabella Smith, Eva Flores and Madison Russell.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen McCarty.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nurlela Gouveia for her special love and care she provided him for the past four years and to his nurse, Kim Wooden and CNA Karen Hill of Crossroads Hospice for their excellent care and compassion they provided for the past five months.
A service for Bobby McCarty will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Brother Jim Harrison will officiate.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

passing.
I lost my Dad in 2014 and I know the struggle you are dealing with. My prayers are with you and your family!
Lynn, I have been out and did not pick up on this until a few minutes ago. I am so sorry for your loss. Would have loved to seen you. Know that you are in my prayers and I hope his smile and GREAT personality of his will help you to keep his memory alive in your heart. What a dear man Mr. McCarty was. He loved his family and the Lord and everyone. It was always a pleasure to see and speak with him, so uplifting. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

So sorry for the family's loss, but we can all rejoice that he is celebrating in Paradise with no pain or problems. His ever present smile and kind word will keep our memories of him a constant reminder of how we need to live and join him in PARADISE.
