Simon Charles Smith, 53, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Stone County Medical Center. Simon was born on April 24, 1965 in Clinton, Arkansas to Charles Evert and Christina (Steed) Smith. Simon was a member of East Richwoods Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Simon loved to tinker; he would take apart sewing machines, microwaves and enjoyed putting them back together. He loved building model cars, coloring and reading. Simon's favorite author was Louis L'Amour and his western books.
Simon is survived by his father, Evert Smith; three brothers, Craig, Samuel, and Daniel Smith all of Mountain View, Arkansas; one sister, Amy Smith Lawrence and husband Rick of Mountain View, Arkansas, as well as many extended family and friends.
Simon was preceded in death by his mother, Christina (Steed) Smith, and his step-mother, Barbara Smith.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, 10:00AM at Fredonia Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Larry Howard officiating.
Pallbearers are Craig Smith, Sam Smith, Dan Smith, Rick Lawrence, Russell Foster, and Henry Fedd.
