Doris Joan Burrell, 92, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Doris was born on January 17, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to Ora and Wiley Brewer.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Ora and Wiley Brewer; daughter, Sherri Davidson, and husband Fred Burrell.
During WWII she was a Rosie the Riveter at Firestone Aircraft in Akron, Ohio. At 48 years old she moved to Pensacola, Florida and became a nurse and retired from W. Fla. Hospital. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida.
In 2014 she moved to Mountain View, Arkansas and resided at Mountain View Care Facility to be near her son. She leaves a daughter Terri Reves of Eagle River, Alaska; a son Fred Burrell of Mountain View, Arkansas; a sister Nancy Harrington and Buddy of Castle Rock, Colorado; one brother David Brewer and wife Shirley of Madina, Ohio; four grandsons, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Graveside burial in York Cemetery in Marcella, Arkansas will take place on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 10:00AM.

Dear Family,
I am so very sorry about the death of Ms. Doris. I knew her because my mother-in-law, Pauline Brown, lived in the room next to her at the residential care facility. My mother-in-law is going to miss her a lot. They really enjoyed visiting with each other. I also enjoyed getting to know Ms. Doris...she was a very sweet lady. I pray the Lord will bless you with the peace and comfort only He can provide. If there’s anything my husband and I can do for you, please call on us.
