Goldie Marie Stewart, 74 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 in Fort Smith. She was born December 17, 1943 in Newton County, AR. to Joe and Myrtle (Ricketts) Tate.
Goldie was a member of Jamestown Assembly of God. She enjoyed 4 wheeling in the mountains and going to the cabin. Goldie liked to fishing, but never caught one. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jimmy Lee Stewart; daughter, Linda Ann Stewart and son-in-law, Philip Jacob Rosel. She is survived by her daughters, Johnna and Charlie Boone of Clarksville and Juanita and William Smith of Knoxville; four sisters: Lou Tate of Clarksville, Dolly and Robert Sinor of Clarksville, Lorene Brasfield of Van Buren, and Ruby Fowler; two brothers: Guy Tate and Lyodd Tate; grandchildren, Phillip and Heather Rosel III, Leah Rosel, Christi and Billy Butler, Jr., Charles Boone, Jr.; great granddaughter Mikayla Boone and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mrs. Stewart's Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Minnow Creek Cemetery with Phillip Rosel, Christie Butler, Billy Butler, Garrett Morris, Arthur Brandenburg and Junior Young serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph Haby, Don Wages, Homer Qualls, Jack Heil, Frank Sampley, and David Ross.
