Nellie Faye Roberson Allender McDougal, 83, of Pleasant Plains, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018.
She was born on August 1, 1934 in Batesville, Arkansas to John and Corene Roberson.
She is survived by one son, Randy Allender (Tammy) of Pleasant Plains, one daughter; Linda Cocklin of Little Rock, two step-daughters; Joanie McAnnally (John) of Pleasant Plains, and Ingrid Mesiner of Pleasant Plains, three grandchildren; Ashley Allender of Heber Springs, Amy Vaughn (Chris) of Batesville, and Stacey Defoor (Stephanie) of Conway, six step-grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, James Leroy Allender, her second husband, Melvin Richard McDougal, and one step-daughter, Jennifer Stevens.
A graveside service will be held at Union Grove Cemetery on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Bob Key officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the service at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I know God feels for you at this time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 calls God the "Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our trials".Death was never part of his purpose, and He promises a resurrection at John 5:29 : "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." My prayers are with you at this time
