February 26, 1927 - April 6, 2018

Beulah Emmalean Burgin Lawrence Still , 91, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Salem Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Conway. She was born February 26, 1927 at Cato, Arkansas to Wallis W. and Blanche Stewart Burgin.

She is survived by two sons, James Harold Lawrence Jr. (Lura) Of Conway, AR and Jeffery S. Lawrence (Cindy) of Pangburn, AR. and one brother, Stewart H. Bill Burgin of Little Rock. Also three step-daughters, Janis Tidemann of Houston, TX; Kathy Iles (Johnny) of Shreveport, LA; and Danna Still of Sheridan, WY. Also four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and both her husbands, James Harold Lawrence and Daniel Eugene Still as well as eleven of her brothers and sisters: Hubert G., Ona V. (Hart); Mabel (Rea); Hershel J.; Hulin D.; Hinson B.; Leo; Maxine W. (Watson); and 3 who died as infants and one stepson, Randy Still.
Emmalean graduated North Little Rock High School in 1944 and worked in the accounting department of Southwestern Bell in Little Rock for a number of years then as a bank teller in Ridgecrest, CA, then served many years in the Little Rock School District Administration. She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock.

The family expressed their sincere appreciation to the staff for the outstanding care she received at Salem Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Center during her several months there.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 11th at 2:00 PM at Cato Historic Church and Cemetery, 14000 Frenchman Mountain Road, Sherwood, AR. Visitation will be held an hour before the service begins. Burial will follow in the Historic Cemetery on the premises by Roller-Owens Funeral Home of North Little Rock.

In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made to Cato Historic Church and Cemetery, and mailed to Roger Harrell, Treasurer, 160 Cato Road, Sherwood, AR 72120.

So sorry to Hear about Emmalean She was beautiful inside and out our love and prayers for all of the family. Sweet Sweet Aunt! she will be with us always.
