Nathan Leon Rains, age 38 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, March 23rd, 2018. He was born in Troy, Missouri on November 12th, 1979 to Howard Robert Rains and Natasha Cooper Rains.
Nathan spent his working years as a carpenter, working at the rock quarry and helping his uncle in the tire shop. He liked to help his Grandpa Leon work the beehives. He enjoyed baseball and softball. Nathan loved children and liked to spend time with his cousins and daughter.
Survivors include his mother, Natasha Cooper Grinder of Marshall; one daughter, Cheyenne Rains of Greenville, MO; one brother, Phillip Rains of Poplar Bluff, MO; his grandfather, Leon Cooper of Marshall; and several other family members who will also mourn his passing.
Nathan is preceded in death by his father, Howard Robert Rains; his maternal grandmother, Carlene Cooper; and his paternal grandparents, Howard and Emily Rains.
Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. A memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at Bear Creek Community Building with Bro. Donnie Horton officiating.

Tash, I know you and the rest of our family will never totally get over losing Nathan, but please remember he is in safe arms now. And I want you to remember my arms are open to embrace, hold and comfort you. I love you sis.
