Charles Russell Langford, 69, of Newark passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018.
He was born on July 1, 1948 in Jamestown, Arkansas to Russell and Geneva (Elms) Langford.
Charles enjoyed gardening, fishing, and telling stories to his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Janis (Taylor) Langford; two sons, Tracy Langford (Danielle Jackson) of Memphis, Tennessee, and Taylor Bullington (Whitney) of Charlotte; one daughter, Christy Spann (Billy) of Little Rock. Also surviving him are his five grandchildren, Joshua, Samuel, and John Spann, Bentley Bullington, and Jordan Beasley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Connie Schuster.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to First Baptist Church of Newark 7th and Morgan St. P.O. Box 205 Newark, Arkansas 72562 c/o Bill Goodwin.
Honorary Pallbearers are his grandsons, Joshua Spann, Samuel Spann, John Spann, Bentley Bullington, and Jordan Beasley.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Charles Russell Langford will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Newark.
