L. D. Trogdon, age 77, of Yellville, Arkansas entered into rest on Friday, March 16 , 2018 at his residence.

He was born in the Tomahawk community of Marion County, Arkansas September 1, 1940. to the late Dan and Alma (Keeling) Trogdon. He was raised in St. Joe, Arkansas helping his Dad with logging and picking cotton. L.D. was a dairy farmer, raised and showed Missouri Fox Trotters, worked for the Arkansas Forestry Commission for 30 years, and was a member of the Church of Christ.

L.D.married the former Sharon K. (Huddleston) on March 26,1992, and this year would have marked their 26th year of marriage. L.D. and Sharon enjoyed fishing and spent many hours camping on Norfork and Bull Shoals Lakes.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife Sharon Huddleston Trogdon of the home; his children:Betty Villines of Flippin, Arkansas; Marty (Rhonda) Trogdon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Bruce (Kim) Trogdon of Bruno, Arkansas; Joe (Kristy) Cockrum of Beebe, Arkansas; Claudia (Mark) Muller of Los Angeles, California; David (Shannon) Cockrum of Cabot, Arkansas; his brother David Trogdon of St. Joe, Arkansas; sisters: Anna Lee Still of St. Joe, Arkansas; and Othela Marler of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters: Maxine and Rosella

Visitation will be Monday, March 19, 2018 from 9:00 am until service time.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, March 19, 2018 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce Trogdon officiating.

Interment will follow at the Osborn Cemetery in St. Joe, Arkansas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Trogdon, Jeff Trogdon, Robert Trogdon, Caelen Cockrum, Evan Cockrum, Henry Muller, and Jeffrey Grooms.

Sharon and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of L.D.
I worked with him for several years, and always enjoyed working with him and the guys from Marion County.
