Bernice (Tally) Thompson, 81, of Batesville, died Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
She was born on June 5, 1936 in Batesville, Arkansas and was the daughter of Bernard Tally and Laura Eula (Campbell) Talley.
She was co-owner of Thompson's Jewelry store of Batesville. She also enjoyed embroidery, crewel, and reading. She worked at South Western Bell and the Cyberling Plant.
She is survived by her sons, David Thompson and wife (Rhonda) of Charlotte and Curt Thompson and wife (Sheryl) of Batesville.
Other survivors include three grandchildren, Jon Thompson, Adora Thompson, and Laura Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Greg Thompson; sisters, Helen Talley and Doris Ball; and brother, Robert Paul Talley.
Pallbearers include, Rob Robinson, Lee Wigginton, Lacky Moody JR., Chris Beller, Jon Thompson, and Curtis Mynatt. Honorary pallbearers include the staff and residents of Eagle Mountain Assisted Living.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitaton will be from 1:00 pm until time of service.

We only learned of Bernice’s passing today, we are very sorry for the Loss of your mother Kurt and David. Our deepest sympathies are with the whole Thompson family may she Rest In Peace.
