Officer George Anthony Hodgkiss, 31, of Osceola, AR passed away February 21, 2018. He was born October 6, 1986 to Timothy and Arlene Hodgkiss. He was a patrolman at the Blytheville Police Department, 10 year Veteran with the Army National Guard and a member of Westside Baptist Church in Osceola. Survivors include his wife: Jessalyn Hodgkiss of Osceola, AR; father: Tim Hodgkiss of Jonesboro, AR; mother: Arlene Hodgkiss of Cincinnati, OH; step-mother: Lisa Hodgkiss of Jonesboro, AR; Grandmothers: Willow Dean Hodgkiss of Jonesboro, AR and Martha ''Mamaw'' England of Osceola, AR; sisters: Jessica Hodgkiss of Jonesboro, AR, Jenny Hodgkiss of Jonesboro, AR and Rayven Goad of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers: Justin Hodgkiss of Cincinnati, OH; James Malone of Oklahoma City, OK and Jordan Jenson of Jonesboro, AR; nephews: Christian Shown, Cameron Murphy, and Liam Hodgkiss; father-in-law: Kim (Kaci) Burns of Jonesboro, AR; mother-in-law: Jackie England and Kenny Powell of Lepanto, AR; brother-in-laws: Kalen (Hannah) Burns of Paragould, AR, Louie Burks of Jonesboro, AR and Brodie Burks of Jonesboro, AR; sister-in-law: Lenox Burns of Jonesboro, AR. He was preceded in death by grandfathers: Thomas Hodgkiss and Earl ''Papaw'' England; grandmother: Barbara ''Bubby'' Goldstein.

Sending condolences to your family from mine. Unfortunately I don’t think I had the pleasure to meet your son but I can imagine the pain you are facing at this moment. My son is inspired to be a police officer and it shows real courage for this young man to become an officer to protect and serve our community. May he Rest In Peace now and Thank you Sir for serving our community. To the family take care I know this is a rough time and very unexpected. God has him now so no more pain!

There's not enough words to tell you how deeply i'm sorry for your lost. ( if i could take the pain away that you're feeling believe me I would ) You know its easy for us to question " why" , but its hard to receive that answer - because " Only God knows why" . Just know George will always be apart of your life -treasure the memories for they will live forever in your heart. Love you Blair & may you RIP George Hodgkiss.
