James Bailey, age 49 of Guy, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas after a brief illness. He was born in Dalton, Georgia on November 28th, 1968 to Daniel Johnstone and Wanda Milam Johnstone.
James and his family have lived in Guy, Arkansas for 15 years. He worked as a mechanic for the Arkansas Forestry Commission and as a truck driver for 10 plus years.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Rita Rea Bailey of the home; his mother, Wanda Johnstone of LA; daughters, Danielle Rimmer of Guy and Morgan Joiner and husband Michael of LA; son, Wesley Bailey of Guy; and grandsons, Rylan Rimmer and Prentice Joiner. James is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Johnstone; sister, Donna; and brother, Wade, all of LA.
Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Graveside services for James will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 4th, 2018 at Dongola Cemetery near Marshall with Bro. Shane Horton officiating. Friends and family will serve as bearers.

Rita and families, I worked in the office at Greenbrier when James was hired by the Ark Forestry Commission. Just a kind, gentle young man, a hard worker. I always enjoyed our short little visits. I’m sorry for your loss, praying for you.
