He is survived by his wife, Jana and their daughter, Gabi, and adult children- Kathryn Jones (Blake), Maggie Howe, Alicia Reid, John Peden, Jr., Marcia Britton (Dan), 7 grandchildren and sister, Beth Gibbs (Ed).

Never met you but I AM related to you. I was given up for adoption in 1964. Sorry we never met. ðŸ™ðŸ»ðŸ¤Ÿ
John Peden was one of the most brilliant men I've ever had the honor to work with. I had much respect for him. My son loved having him as a teacher. My thoughts and prayers are for all of the family and friends of this great man. He will be missed by many.
So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
(3) "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. (4)
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
Thank you John for 16 years of marriage and 3 beautiful kids. I wish they would have been able to share in knowing the man you had become. Rest in peace. 💟
Johnny, cousin, you will be missed. It has been years since we have seen eachj other. Our Journies have taken us on some wild rides but we persevere. Rest in peace knowing we always have thought of you and you will be missed.
Dad,
I will always love you. I know you will be watching over me and my son's.
See you when I enter the gates,
Your Babycake

I met Mr. Peden when he started teaching at Mountain View and quickly came to respect his dedication to helping students. He was a creative and caring teacher who made a difference for those in his classes. Blessings to his family, and to his professional family both, for their loss.
Mr. Peden was the best History teacher I've ever had. He Pre-op class was the most useful class in my eyes. I learned a lot from Mr. Peden. Not just from his class but, from the lessons about everyday life he would share. I praise him for his service in the Airforce. I started and ended my day to him as he was also my bus driver. He will forever be missed. I pray for comfort for the family and friends in a very difficult time so early in the year. To the Peden Family, if you read my entry please know I'm praying for each of you. It's never easy losing someone you love. Bless all of you.
Love and prayers,
The Gunters.
John Peden has left us with a shining example of a husband, father, patriot, and educator. Thank you to Jana and Gabi for sharing your gift with all of us.
You will be truly missed!
I have known the Peden's for quite some time. He taught my son's in school and we have been co-workers for many years. We also attended the same church for quite some time.
I just pray Peace, Comfort and Strength for the Family, Coworkers, Student Body as well as his friends.. Mr Peden was a one of a kind person. Thank you sir for your years of service.
Every afternoon as we walked to our buses I would ask him 'how are you?" and he always replied with the same thing... "I'm good and yourself?"
You may be gone but you will always remain in our hearts!!!!
Love,
Shannon Jacobes and Family
