John Lee Whitaker, 83, of Mountain Home passed away Monday, Jan 15, 2018. John was born Nov. 8, 1934 to Lee and Ruby Deatherage Whitaker of Cotter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Karen Stewart; and one son, John Lee Whitaker, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ann, of the home; daughters Bridget (Tom) Bean of Springdale, Jo Ann (Warren) McFarland of Mountain Home, and Mary Elizabeth Shafer of Ohio; step-son Bobby Henry; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister Mary Cox of Flippin; and one brother James Whitaker of Cotter. All services will be private. Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home was in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 and John 5:25 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
