Ms. Wanda Dailene (Bottom) Seats, 85, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. She was the widower of Mr. Lawrence Bell Seats.

Ms. Wanda Seats was born March 6, 1932, in the country near Mountain View, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Roy Burnett Bottom and Mrs. Jessie Lee (Lunsford) Bottom of Mountain View, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mr. Hu Bottom of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Ms. Wanda Seats' professional career was varied. She began her work life at First Baptist Church on Main Street in Jonesboro. From there, she moved on to Frolic Footwear. However, her heart was committed to the Cottage of Hope, where she helped teach life skills to the beautiful children that were in her care. She also was the bus driver who would greet and leave them with a smile as they were picked up and dropped off by Ms. Wanda. Her last position was at General Electric until her full-time retirement in 1990.

Ms. Seats was a part of the respite community for the children she worked with during the weekends. She loved being with the kids, and would spend many hours doing whatever she could to help them where they needed. She was of the Baptist faith and was a worldwide member of every church.

She is survived by her amazing caregiver son, Mr. Roy ''Rusty'' Morgan Seats of Jonesboro.

Chapel services will be 11 am Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, with Conrad Mobley officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 am until time of service. Burial will be private at a later date.
