Earl D. ''Bim'' Smith, Jr., 63, of Bryant passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. He was born January 13, 1954 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Debbie Stoelting.
Earl was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Benton, Arkansas. He loved cars, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Smith; son, Eric Smith; daughter, Jackie Thomas and husband Chancey; three grandchildren, Taylor Bird, Lilli Hayre, and Graham Thomas; two nephews, Scott and Shane Stoelting; and one niece, Christy Marsh.
Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 at Northside Church of Christ in Benton with Jim Gardner officiating.

To Angie and Family,
I just wanted you to know how deeply sorry I am to hear about Bim's passing. I am just shocked and saddened by the news and my heart just aches for all of you. It is just a shame that he went so soon and at this time of year.
I am lucky and proud to be part of his family and please know that his laughter and sense of humor will never be forgotten.
