December 6, 1944 - November 30, 2017

Nancy Jane Lowry, 72, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, passed quietly to her eternal rest on November 30, 2017 at 7:32 P.M., after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 38 years, Bob Gene Lowry, Sr.; her father, Vernon Treadway and mother, Eva Treadway; her brothers Rodger Lynn Treadway and Michael Gene Treadway. Nancy was the only girl with five brothers.

She is survived by three children: Bob Gene Lowry, Jr., (Janet), Brenda Amy Lowry of Dallas, and Linda Edda Dayer of Conway; grandchildren: Steve Daniel Lowry, Tori Elizabeth Lowry and Mary Elizabeth Dayer; two adopted grandsons, Cade and Brandon Bennett of Cabot, AR.; brothers: Marvin Treadway (Yvette) of Odessa, Texas, Steve Treadway (Val) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Bud Treadway of Wheeling, West Virginia.

She was a kind and loving mom and Nana, a friend who could always be relied on. She led a life of selflessness and was always more concerned with the needs of others above her own. So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at John 5:28,29
(28). "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (29) and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment".

Nancy was my formation director, so she had a lot of influence on my entrance into Carmel. I'll forever be thankful to her for that. Thank you so much Nancy.
