Bernice Christian, 96, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. She was born Saturday, July 30, 1921 to Jasper Engle and Sophia White Engle.
Mrs. Christian is survived by two sons, Benny Williams (Ann), of Hamburg, Arkansas; Danny Williams (Judy), one daughter, Donna Rowton, of Marianna, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, one sister, Beatrice Hinkle, of Aubrey, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Benjamin Harrison Williams.
Pallbearers will be Justin Carlow, Michael McClendon, Darren Blackwood, Ben Williams, Billy Rea, Mark Cook, and Hank Blackwood.
Services for Mrs. Christian will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas with Dr. J.E. Hughes officiating. I'm so sorry to hear of Bernice’s passing. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW
