Tammy Jean Ferren

Tammy Jean Ferren, 57, returned to her heavenly home on November 11, 2017 after a long fought battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Her outstanding love and devotion to her family and her unwavering faith in the Lord kept her strong throughout her struggle, and ultimately gave her peace in the end.

Tammy was born in Pekin, IL on November 30, 1959 to J.W. and Lucille Sutton. She married her High School sweetheart Daniel Ferren on September 3, 1977, who also became her caregiver till the end. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Pam and Katie, and a loving Gran to her 4 grandsons, Payden, Bryce, Evan, and Eli. She worked as a Lab Technician for Stone County Medical Center and later for Dr. Simpson and Dr. Sutterfield at Mountain View Family Practice.

Tammy can best be described as an Angel on Earth. Her love, faith and perseverance throughout her struggle was an inspiration to many. She loved being with family and friends and enjoyed watching her daughters play sports. She adored her 4 grandsons and loved watching them play and grow.

Tammy was a devout Christian who never lost her faith. She was a member of the School Avenue Church of Christ since 1970. She was very dedicated to her congregation and was loved by all.

Tammy is survived by her husband and caregiver, Daniel Ferren. Her daughters; Pam Webb and husband Ryan; Katie Brewer and husband Jason; her Mother, Lucille Sutton; Sister, Denise Diffey; Brother, Keith Sutton and wife Ann; Mother in Law, Jewell Miller and husband Paul; Sister in law, Gail Butler and husband Eudane; 4 grandsons, Payden and Bryce Webb, Evan and Eli Brewer; her loving companion, Daisy, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her Father, J.W. Sutton; Father in Law, Wilton Ferren, and brother in law, Allen Ferren.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at School Avenue Church of Christ from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 1:00PM with Brother Finis Brewer officiating. Interment will be at Bickles Cove Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Lance Bonds, Jay Mabry, Aaron Ferren, Keith Ferren, Ryan Richardson, and Tommy Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers are the angels from the Hospice and Home Health staff that took such good care of her.
