Betty Lou Freeman

of Knoxville, AR

December 8, 1938 - November 10, 2017

The world was blessed with Betty Lou Freeman on December 8, 1938 until she joined family and friends in heaven on November 10, 2017. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Delmer Freeman, her parents Elmer and Doris Harris, in-laws Lee and Essie Freeman, sisters Ronnie Short and Denise Behrman, and great grand baby Allison Payne. She is survived by daughter Jacklynne Harris and husband Lonnie, son Delmer Freeman Jr and Jamie Pimental, son Luther Freeman, and daughter Rebecca Hardgrave and husband Mark. Grandchildren include Christina Payne, Valerie Collins, Dustin Harris, Bridget Chimarys, Lynn Demoret, Cody Flynt, Devin Pimental, Danielle Freeman, Natalia Hardgrave, and Jazmin Delgado Hardgrave. Sister Emily Naylor and brother John Harris. Great Grandchildren Matthew, Maranda, Bryer, and Baylor Payne; Skylar Turner, Raylynn and Malaki Judah, Ryleigh Collins, Adalyn and Emma Harris. She was loved by many nephews and nieces and "adopted" by many people who were not related by blood, but by heart. The number of people that referred to her as Grandma Betty or Aunt Betty were innumberable. She had a heart and passion for helping people. She served her community her whole life. Among her many acts of kindness include founding a food bank that was based on need, not by judgement of situations, religion, or color. She helped raise funds for so many projects including mission trips by family members, families in need, cemetery upkeep, children in the hospital, and countless others.
Betty's Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 25, 2017 at Lee's Chapel Church with Pastor Dewayne Holland officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home, online guestbook available at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/clarksville

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" ( 3) Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, (4 ) who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

I loved this woman. She was a great person. She took me in, and loved me like her own. Betty did great things for people. She was a kind, caring, and loving person. I will always remember her and Delmer. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know this is very difficult, as I lost my dad in June.
