Johnny F. Wilson, Sr., age 63, of Poplar Grove, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Helena. Mr. Wilson was born May 26, 1954 in Poplar Grove to the late Charles and Inez Wilson. He was a member of Barton Baptist Church and worked as a roofing contractor.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Melinda; son, Johnny F. Wilson, Jr. of Poplar Grove; daughter, Bethany Wilson of West Helena; two sisters, Jean Forsyth (Duane) of Rogers and Debra Harper of Springdale; four brothers, Charles ''Sonny'' Wilson (Ola) of Poplar Grove, Danny Wilson (Roxie) of Lexa, Henry Wilson (Connie) of Fayetteville and Tim Wilson (Rita) of Springdale; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jack Wilson and Bill Wilson.
A graveside service for Johnny Wilson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 at Central Cemetery in Lexa. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

My prayers are with you during this time and the days to come. Mr. Johnny was a great man and a hard worker. My dad always hired him to do our roof repairs.
