Ashley Jerolene ''Jerry'' Kendrick, 88, of North Little Rock, passed on October 31, 2017. She was born on February 4, 1929 in Jacksonville, Florida to Judson Ashley and Addie Mae Johnston Thorne.
Ashley completed Seminary at Southwest Seminary and served as a youth minister and church secretary for Pike Avenue Baptist Church for 13 years. She later became a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Ashley is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Kendrick; one son, Lee Kendrick of Mabelvale; one daughter, Regena Kendrick of Sherwood; two grandchildren, Brandon Jesse Kendrick of Mabelvale and Ashlee Donielle Henderson and husband Stephen of Searcy; two great grand children, Jesse Wayne Croney and Atticus Henderson; one sister, Ernest Claire Ivanovic of Atlanta, Georgia; and one brother, Judson Ashley Thorne Jr. of Tampa, Florida.
Services will be held Monday, November 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel; 5509 JFK Blvd; North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116. Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.
All six of us Jackson kids had you as our kindergarten teacher. Bless you and may you rest in peace.
