Verdie Elnora (Gammill) Goodman, 98, of Timbo, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Mountain View, Arkansas. Verdie was born on November 26, 1918 in Fairview, Arkansas to the late Edward and Pearl (Martin) Gammill. Verdie was a member of Timbo Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and was a wonderful homemaker.
Verdie is survived by one son, JC Goodman; daughter, Oneda Morrow and husband Troy D. and daughter, Elaine Sutterfield; one brother Billy (Gammill) Richardson; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren, along with a host of extended family and friends.
Verdie was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Pearl (Martin) Gammill; husband, Coy Goodman; numerous brothers and sisters; one granddaughter, Sherry, and two sons-in-law, Pete Harness and Dwight Sutterfield.
Visitation is Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 9:00-10:00 AM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 10:00 AM with Brother Junior Barham and Brother Josh Looney officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pordue Cemetery in Onia, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Roger Morrow, Troy A. Morrow, Ian Sutterfield, Ben Scarberry, Matt Scarberry, and Casey Scarberry. Honorary pallbearer is Tim Turner.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

You always were a highlight of my visit to see Mom. You reminded me so much of my precious grandma...it made me not miss her so much, briefly. You will finally be reunited with her and all the others. RIP my precious aunt
