Wilma Loudell (Coots) Martin, 88, of Cave City, died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at White River Medical Center.

She was born in Flippin, Arkansas on December 6, 1928 to George Dexter Coots and Eathel Ellen (Waire) Coots.

Wilma was a retired nurse and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include sons, David Martin and Tommy Martin, both of Cleveland, Texas, Richard Martin and John Martin, both of Batesville, Arkansas; daughters Loretta Hays of Batesville and Irene Stripling of Cave City, Arkansas; and sixteen grandchildren, Alan Martin of Colorado, David Keller of Cave City, Joshua Martin of Osceola, Tommy Billingsley of Arkansas, Brandon Billingsley, also of Arkansas, Travis Richard of Ohio, Chris Martin of Alma, Keith Hays of Batesville, Debbie Evans, also of Batesville, Tina Parmenton of Oklahoma, Rebecca Kohl of Colorado, Tonya Beatty, also of Colorado, Erika Gill of Oregon, Charlene Brown of Batesville, Abbey Martin of Manilla, and Sara Clark of Ohio. Other survivors include her brothers, Lloyd Coots of Russellville, Alabama and Don Coots of Judsonia, Arkansas. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and numerus nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Martin; an infant son, Gerald Ray Martin; daughter, Joyce Richard; granddaughter, Shannon Martin; and brothers, Wayne Coots and Kenneth Coots.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Cave City Methodist Church with Bro. Joe Kaiser, and grandsons, Bro. Keith Hays and Bro. Chris Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Cave City Cemetery by Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers were her grandsons.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

I worked with Wilma at WRMC for years. Wilma was a sweet lady, a very caring and capable nurse. She was a hard worker and was very respected by her fellow nurses. I'm sorry I was not aware of her passing. I would have attended the service as I'm sure other co-workers would have also. Ina Reed RN

Lynn and I want to express our condolences to the Martin family. So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I have so many fond memories of the Methodist Church growing up. God bless each and everyone of you.

Loretta and all the Martin Family, You are in our thoughts and prayers. Keith preached at Rings Chapel several times this year and I was reminded of the Martin Family living at Cave City. We enjoyed getting to know him and his family.
